Arali's first holiday

Easter of April 2009 was our first holiday with Miss Arali.

It's truly amazing how one addition to your family can make these days
seem so much more worthwhile.

It was spent with my family, and some of our close friends...

Here we have Melora, not liking her rabbit ears at all:

Little Victor was the stud of the day... naturally.

My best friend Michelle, gifted both Arali and Little Victor with their very first
"Easter Bunnies". They were very cute, Arali's is the pink one, of course.

Daddy felt like being cute and posing with one of the kid's pair of bunny ears. Haha.

Here we have "Bunny Bean." This was really the only good photo we got of her during the day
because she was asleep most the time. But, a sleeping baby, is a happy baby.

The day, while long, went very well. Little Vic decided to indulge in some quality time with
his bunny.

And Arali, finished it off with a snack! Happy first Easter baby girl!

April 5th, 2009 - The first day of my amazing new life.

Hi, my name is Nicki. I'm here to share with you all each amazing day(may not be EVERY day), I spend with my wonderful daughter:

That's the name

Arali was born on the fifth of April in the year two-thousand and nine, at quarter to six in the evening. She was a healthy seven pounds, four ounces and twenty inches long. Arali was given a little green hat, we cycled through a pink one which was too small, and a weird egg looking one which was too big before we found her perfect fit!

She spent her first few hours of life wearing hospital clothes, but we were soon able to put her in one of her many adorable outfits.

My first outfit

Among the many wonderful gifts we received for our little miracle, was a pink giraffe from my friend, Michelle. Despite her age, she seemed to favor this critter right from the start. I was truly an adorable thing to see.

Our little girl loves to eat! Anyone who knows us even the slightest bit, will know that this comes from her daddy.

Eatin' some food

After a very tiring two days in the hospital, we headed for home on the seventh of April around noon. Giving birth was truly a tiring, surreal, shocking, and euphoric experience. Here's us saying "good-bye" to the hospital, and "hello" to our new and wondrous life as first time parents.
